In Gold Rush: Alaska season 1 episode 11, titled "Full Disclosure," the miners are facing a critical point in their season. The Hoffman crew is still struggling to get their machinery running smoothly, while the Dakota Boys have a major storm headed their way. Todd Hoffman, the leader of the Hoffman crew, has always believed in full transparency with his family and team, but in this episode, he faces a difficult decision when it comes to telling them about his financial situation. Meanwhile, the Dakota Boys are trying to beat the storm and work more efficiently to get as much gold as possible.

At the beginning of the episode, the Hoffman crew is still dealing with mechanical issues on all their equipment. Their trommel has stopped working and they need to take it apart to fix it. While they work on that, they are barely getting any gold out of their sluice boxes. Todd expresses his frustration to his team, but also admits that it's his fault for not doing enough research on the machinery before buying it. He is determined to work harder and smarter to make up for lost time and money.

Over at Porcupine Creek, the Dakota Boys are also struggling. They have been working on their cuts for days and still haven't hit pay dirt. Fred, the driving force behind the Dakota Boys, is getting impatient and wants to move to a new location. Dustin, his son, wants to stick it out for a little longer. To make matters worse, a major storm is headed their way, potentially bringing a week-long shutdown.

As the episode progresses, Todd Hoffman faces a tough decision. After a conversation with his accountant, he learns that the crew's finances are in a dire situation. They have been spending more money than they've been making and are in debt. Todd has always preached transparency, so he decides to have a meeting with his team to tell them the truth. However, he is worried about how they will react. He knows that morale is already low, and this news could make things worse.

At the meeting, Todd tells the crew that they are in debt and need to make some changes. Some crew members take the news well and are happy that Todd was honest with them. Others are angry and feel like they've been lied to. For Todd, it's a step in the right direction. He knows that they need to work together and be more efficient if they want to turn things around.

Back at Porcupine Creek, the Dakota Boys are racing against the storm. They finally hit pay dirt and start running their material through their sluice boxes. They need to get as much gold as possible before the storm hits. It's a tense situation as Fred and Dustin work to beat the clock and the weather. In the end, they are able to run a good amount of material and get a decent amount of gold.

Gold Rush: Alaska season 1 episode 11, "Full Disclosure," is a pivotal episode in the season. The Hoffman crew is facing financial troubles, and the Dakota Boys are trying to beat the storm. It's a reminder that mining is a risky business, and success is never guaranteed. However, it's also a reminder that teamwork, honesty, and hard work can make all the difference.
