Ep 8. Road to Gold

In Gold Rush: Alaska season 3 episode 8, entitled "Road to Gold," the various crews continued to battle against the harsh Alaskan winter weather in their quest for gold. With each passing day, the stakes grew increasingly higher as the gold that remained in the ground became more difficult to reach.

One of the major storylines in this episode was the ongoing struggles of the Dakota Boys. After relocating to a new site along the river, they quickly realized that the gold was buried too deep for their current methods to be effective. Todd Hoffman's crew also faced significant setbacks as they attempted to mine in a new area that had been flooded by the nearby river.
