Ep 10. Hope Creek

The episode begins with the Hoffman crew, who are still struggling to get their operation up and running. With only six weeks left before the season ends, they need to start making progress fast. Todd Hoffman and his team are determined to hit their target of 1,000 ounces of gold, but so far, they have only mined 12% of their goal. To speed things along, they decide to move their operation to Hope Creek, a new location with potential for a big payout.

Moving their entire operation to a new location is no easy task, but the Hoffman crew is used to working in tough conditions. They pack up their equipment and set off for Hope Creek, where they hope their luck will turn around. However, upon arrival, they find that the creek has hardly any water, meaning that they will need to make some adjustments to their equipment to be able to mine effectively.

Meanwhile, the Dakota boys are also working hard to find gold. They have been focusing their efforts on a spot they call "the Glory Hole," a location where they have previously had success. However, they are starting to feel the pressure as the end of the season approaches and they are nowhere near their target of 1,000 ounces. They decide to explore a new area, a decision that could prove to be a game-changer for their operation.

Back at Hope Creek, the Hoffman crew is struggling to get their equipment working properly. Their main issue is the lack of water, which is essential for mining. Todd Hoffman decides to take matters into his own hands and tries to install a water pump to bring in more water from a nearby source. However, the pump is old and in poor condition, and it quickly becomes clear that it won't be up to the task of supplying the team with enough water to mine effectively.

As the days pass, tensions start to rise among the Hoffman crew. They are running out of time and resources, and it seems like they are never going to hit their target.
