Oliver and Lisa Douglas's pet pig, Arnold, becomes a hero in the eyes of the citizens of Hooterville after saving a young girl from drowning. Arnold's feat catches the attention of a Hollywood producer who wants to make a movie about the pig's heroic act.
The town becomes abuzz with excitement as they prepare for the Hollywood crew's arrival. Arnold is pampered and prepped before being shown off to the producer, who is more interested in the pig's potential as a movie star than his heroic act.
Meanwhile, Oliver and Lisa become concerned about Arnold's sudden stardom and fear that the pig may become too egotistical. They attempt to talk to him about the importance of humility, but Arnold only becomes offended and runs off into the woods.
The town bands together to search for Arnold, but the pig is nowhere to be found. Just when they are about to give up hope, Arnold returns to the farm with a surprise for everyone.
The episode culminates in a heartwarming moment as Arnold's true heroism is revealed, bringing the town even closer together than before.
