Ep 2. The Rummage Sale

Mr. and Mrs. Douglas are preparing for a community rummage sale in the fourth season and second episode of Green Acres. The episode is aptly named "The Rummage Sale." Oliver, the lead character of the show, is keen on letting go of some of the unnecessary items they've accumulated over the years. However, he doesn't anticipate Lisa's emotions getting in the way of the impending sale.

They eventually come to an agreement on what to sell and what to keep. Despite Lisa's initial reluctance, the rummage sale turns out to be a success, and several people attend it. Apart from selling their unwanted items, Lisa also offers her fashion advice, which people accept.

While Lisa supervises the sales, Oliver finds himself drawn to a "good luck" charm. He insists on purchasing it, and the seller agrees to let him have it at a reduced price. Arnold, who has followed Oliver around throughout the show, steals his new "good luck" charm, and a contest over the trinket ensues.

The show concludes with a happy note—Oliver and Lisa have sold everything they wanted, including the grandfather clock, which surprises Lisa when it fetches a considerable sum. They are delighted with the outcome of the rummage sale, and the promise of Cookie's replacement recipe cards.
