Gundam Seed Destiny Season 1 Episode 27 Promise

After Athrun rejoins ZAFT, the Minerva leaves Earth to dock at the Daedalus lunar base. Shinn is still hurt by Athrun's return and his inability to protect his sister, Stellar. Kira and Cagalli travel to the PLANTs to try and persuade Chairman Durandal to cease the fighting. Meanwhile, Athrun tries to reach out to Shinn to try and help him overcome his grief. Both Kira and Athrun cross paths, and tensions rise as they confront each other over their differing ideologies. Durandal presents his plans for a world without conflict, but Kira and Cagalli remain skeptical, unsure of his true intentions. As the episode ends, a mysterious figure reappears, setting in motion events that will change the course of the war between Earth and ZAFT.
