Takako arrives at the inn to check up on the progress of the Kissuiso's management training. On their arrival, everyone is surprised to learn that Takako has brought along her granddaughter, Enishi's sister, Takako Matsumoto. Takako explains that Takako Matsumoto has always been interested in Kissuiso and wants to learn more about it. Takako Matsumoto is a reserved girl who doesn't like to interact with others. The staff at the inn are soon tasked with helping Takako Matsumoto get used to the inn and bring her out of her shell.

Takako's visit puts pressure on Ohana, who is already struggling with the workload, to impress her grandmother and teach Takako Matsumoto what it takes to run the inn. Ohana tries her best to be a good role model for Takako Matsumoto, but it seems like Takako Matsumoto is unconcerned. Later on, Takako Matsumoto reveals that she has been keeping a journal where she writes about her interests and dislikes. She talks about her love for astronomy and explains that she feels more confident when she's looking up at the stars.

The following day, Ohana takes Takako Matsumoto on a hike to see the view of the night sky. While on the trip, Ohana opens up about her time at Kissuiso and how it has helped her grow as a person. Takako Matsumoto begins to feel more comfortable around Ohana and opens up about her love for astronomy. The two girls bond over their shared interests and Takako Matsumoto begins to see the appeal of Kissuiso.

Back at the inn, Takako Matsumoto volunteers to help with chores. She is shown how to clean rooms, cook, and even help serve customers. Her grandfather, Enishi, is surprised to see her so willing to help out and tells Ohana that he's grateful to her for helping Takako Matsumoto come out of her shell.

However, things take a turn for the worse when Takako Matsumoto accidentally breaks a dish while helping out in the kitchen. Ohana takes the blame for her, but Takako Matsumoto is clearly upset. She locks herself in her room, but Ohana is determined to help her feel better. Ohana invites Takako Matsumoto to visit her in Tokyo and see the planetarium there. Takako Matsumoto is hesitant at first but agrees to the trip.

The episode ends with Ohana and Takako Matsumoto at the planetarium, looking up at the stars. Takako Matsumoto admits that she's always been afraid to follow her dreams, but meeting Ohana has given her the courage to pursue her interests. Ohana encourages Takako Matsumoto to be true to herself and do what she loves.
