Hogan Knows Best Season 1 Episode 1 Brooke's First Date

  • July 10, 2005

Hogan Knows Best is a reality television show that follows the life of former professional wrestler Hulk Hogan and his family. The first episode of season one is titled "Brooke's First Date" and focuses on Hulk's oldest child, Brooke, as she navigates the teenage experience of going on her very first date.

The episode begins with The Hulkster expressing his anxiety about Brooke's first date. He confides in his wife, Linda, about how scared he is for Brooke to grow up and start dating. Linda reassures him that Brooke is growing up and that they need to support her through this new experience.

Meanwhile, Brooke is getting ready for her big night. She's excited and nervous all at once. Her little brother, Nick, tries to give her some tips on what to do and what not to do on a first date, but Brooke shrugs off his advice and insists she has everything under control.

As the evening progresses, Hulk can't help but feel nervous about Brooke's date. He constantly checks in with Linda to make sure everything is okay. Linda assures him that this is a normal thing for teenagers to do and they need to trust Brooke.

Brooke's date arrives, and Hulk eagerly tries to get to know him. However, the date seems to be a bit nervous around Hulk. The Hulkster tries to make light of the situation and reminds the young man to treat Brooke with respect.

As Brooke and her date head out, Hulk can't resist following them in his car. Linda tries to talk some sense into him and reminds him that they need to respect Brooke's privacy and let her have her own experiences.

Throughout the night, Hogan gets into some comedic moments, such as being caught in the rain and not having a proper umbrella. He even offers to chaperone Brooke and her date at the movies but is thankfully talked out of it by Linda.

Despite her father's overprotectiveness, Brooke's date seems to go successfully. When she returns home, Hogan and Linda ask her all about the experience. Brooke admits that while her date was nice, she didn't feel a spark between them.

The episode ends with Hogan reflecting on the importance of letting his children grow up and have their own experiences. Although it can be difficult, he knows that it's necessary for their personal growth.

Overall, "Brooke's First Date" is a light-hearted and entertaining look into the Hogan family's experiences with growing up and the challenges that come with it. It's a relatable experience for parents who may have also gone through the same anxieties and concerns when their own children start dating.
