Set in a luxurious five-star hotel in London, Hotel Babylon follows the lives of the hotel staff and guests. In episode 3, the hotel hosts the launch party for an exclusive new perfume, which brings in high-profile guests and demands top-notch service from the staff.

The episode opens with Head Concierge Tony (Dexter Fletcher) dealing with a difficult guest who insists on a last-minute reservation for the fragrance launch party. Meanwhile, hotel manager Rebecca (Tamzin Outhwaite) is dealing with the arrival of her ex-husband, a wealthy businessman who is also attending the party.

In the kitchen, head chef Otto (Martin Marquez) is struggling to keep up with demands from the party guests, and finds himself at odds with his sous-chef, James (Max Beesley), who has been secretly using the hotel's kitchen to cook up a new business venture.

As the night wears on, the hotel staff must work together to keep up with the demands of the high-profile guests and their own personal drama. And when a valuable perfume bottle goes missing, the hotel's security chief Jackie (Natalie Mendoza) must use her skills and resources to track down the culprit before it's too late.
