In/Spectre Season 2 Episode 9 The Silenced Children

Kotoko and Kuro continue their investigation into the Steel Lady Nanase case, but their focus takes a sudden shift when they're approached by a woman named Kurouzu Nanako. Nanako claims that her children have been taken by a yokai and pleads with Kotoko to help her get them back. Kotoko is initially skeptical, believing Nanako's story to be nothing more than a rumor, but her doubts quickly evaporate when she receives a disturbing phone call from the kidnapper.

Despite having their plates full with the Steel Lady case, Kotoko and Kuro agree to take on Nanako's case, and the three of them begin scouring the city for clues. Along the way, they meet several other families whose children have also been taken, and they all tell the same bone-chilling tale of a mysterious yokai that creeps into their homes in the dead of night, snatching away their loved ones without warning.

As Kotoko and Kuro dig deeper into the case, they discover that the yokai responsible for the kidnappings has been silenced by a powerful spell. Without the ability to speak, the yokai cannot communicate with its captives or reveal its true identity. Nevertheless, Kotoko persists in her investigation, convinced that there must be some way to break the spell and uncover the truth.

With the help of Saki, a young girl with a unique ability to communicate with yokai, Kotoko and Kuro finally manage to track down the kidnapper and confront them head-on. What they find is something no one could have predicted, and the truth is even more grisly and unsettling than any of them could have imagined.

As the dust settles on the shocking conclusion to the Nanako case, Kotoko and Kuro return their attention to the Steel Lady case, with renewed resolve to crack the mystery behind the apparition. However, they can't shake the feeling that something else is lurking just beneath the surface, waiting to be uncovered...
