Adam / Michael is the third episode of the second season of the gripping reality TV-show called Intervention. The episode follows the stories of two individuals, Adam and Michael, who are both struggling with addiction.

Adam is a 25-year-old man who has struggled with addiction for the past 8 years. He is addicted to cocaine and heroin, and his addiction has caused him to lose everything he once held dear, including his job, his apartment, and his relationship with his family. His addiction is also taking a toll on his health, and he has been hospitalized multiple times due to drug-related illnesses. Despite numerous attempts to get him to seek help, Adam has refused to go to rehab.

Meanwhile, Michael is a 27-year-old man who is addicted to alcohol and Xanax. He has been drinking heavily and taking Xanax for the past 5 years, and as a result, he has been in and out of rehab several times. However, Michael has not been able to stay sober and has relapsed numerous times, causing his family to lose faith in him. Michael is now at a crossroads, and his family is considering an intervention to try and get him the help he needs.

The episode begins with Adam and Michael's family members sharing their concerns about their loved ones' addiction. They discuss the ways in which their addiction has affected their lives and express their fears that they may lose them if they don't get help soon. The families are, understandably, very emotional, and it is clear that they are at their wits' end.

Next, the show follows the process of setting up the intervention for both Adam and Michael. The families work with a professional interventionist to plan the intervention, and they rehearse what they want to say to their loved ones. The interventionist also provides guidance on how to remain calm during the intervention and avoid getting sidetracked by emotions.

When the interventions finally take place, it is a very intense and emotional experience. The families take turns reading letters they've written to their loved ones, expressing their love for them, and detailing how their addiction has impacted their own lives. There are many tears and tense moments as Adam and Michael try to deny or minimize their addiction. Finally, both men concede and agree to seek help.

The following scenes show Adam and Michael being taken to rehab and beginning their journey towards recovery. The rehab process is difficult, but both men are shown to be genuinely committed to staying sober and rebuilding their lives. Their families are also shown to be supportive and committed to helping their loved ones through their recovery.

Overall, Adam / Michael is a very powerful episode of Intervention that highlights the devastating impact of addiction on individuals and their families. It is a reminder that addiction is a chronic disease that requires ongoing support and treatment to overcome. However, the episode is also hopeful, showing that recovery is possible with the right help and support.
