Inuyasha Eng Dub Season 1 Episode 4 The Hair Demon, Yura

When Kagome is bathing in a river, she suddenly gets attacked by a hair demon named Yura. The demon is able to manipulate and control her hair to strangle Kagome. Inuyasha appears in time to save Kagome, but Yura escapes. Kagome is left traumatized by the experience and is unable to wash her hair as she fears that it will happen again.

The group decides to visit an old woman named Kaede who is knowledgeable about demons. Kaede informs them that Yura is a powerful hair demon and that her hair continues to grow even after it has been cut. The group devises a plan to defeat Yura by cutting off her hair and weakening her power. Inuyasha and Kagome then set out to find Yura.

During their search, Kagome becomes separated from Inuyasha and runs into Yura. Yura uses her hair to trap and control Kagome, but Inuyasha arrives just in time to save her. Inuyasha and Yura then engage in a battle, where it is revealed that Yura has a secret weapon. She is able to use her hair to form a bow and arrow which can shoot with deadly accuracy. Inuyasha is badly wounded by the arrow and is unable to fight back.

Kagome then comes up with a plan to distract Yura while Inuyasha recovers. She uses her shampoo to make Yura's hair clean and beautiful. Yura becomes fascinated with her new look and begins fixating on it, causing her to lose focus on the battle. Inuyasha seizes the opportunity and cuts off Yura's hair, causing her to lose her powers and revert back to her original form.

In the end, the group retrieves the Shikon Jewel shard that Yura had been guarding. Kagome is finally able to wash her hair without fear, and Inuyasha and Kagome continue on their journey to find the remaining shards of the jewel.
