In Josh Gates' Destination Truth season 3 episode 2, the team sets out to investigate reports of an African dinosaur and a beast in Brazil.

In Africa, the team makes their way to a rural village where locals claim to have seen a creature resembling a dinosaur. With the help of a local guide, the team treks through the dense jungle in search of evidence. Along the way, they come across various animals and insects native to the area, including snakes and spiders. As night falls, they set up camp and prepare for an evening investigation.

Using a combination of thermal imaging cameras and infrared technology, the team scours the surrounding area for any signs of the creature. As the night wears on, they hear strange noises and movement in the brush, but are unable to confirm whether or not they have found the source.

Next, the team travels to Brazil to investigate reports of a creature terrorizing a small village on the outskirts of the Amazon rainforest. Locals claim the creature is responsible for the disappearances of several villagers and livestock, and several sightings have been reported.

The team meets with eyewitnesses and examines footage of the alleged creature before setting out to track it down. As they move deep into the jungle, they come across a series of strange footprints and markings on trees. They also hear what sounds like an animal moving through the brush, but are unable to get a clear visual.

Throughout the episode, the team faces a number of challenges, including harsh weather conditions, difficult terrain, and communication barriers with the locals. However, they press on in their search for the truth, using their expertise and state-of-the-art equipment to investigate these mysterious reports.

Ultimately, the team must determine whether these sightings are simply the product of local folklore and superstition, or if there is truly something out there in the wilds of Africa and Brazil that has yet to be discovered.
