Judge Judy Season 23 Episode 37 House Flipping Scam Artist?!; Pit Bull Mix Goes for Woman's Throat?!; Unfair Child Support!
- October 16, 2018
In the latest episode of Judge Judy, we see a case brought before the famous judge where a house flipping scam artist has taken advantage of a couple in need of a home renovation, resulting in an incomplete and shoddy job. The couple claims they suffered damages in excess of $10,000 and demand compensation for the botched job. However, the defendant argues that the couple agreed to the subpar work beforehand, and that they were never misled.
Next, we see a woman who claims she was attacked by her neighbor's pit bull mix. The plaintiff says that the dog was not on a leash and aggressively went for her throat. The defendant refutes this, saying that the dog was on a leash and that the plaintiff had instigated the dog. Judge Judy must decipher whose story is the truth.
Finally, we see a case of unfair child support. The plaintiff claims that her ex-husband has not been paying his share of child support, despite court orders. The defendant defends himself by saying that he has not been in work for a number of months and therefore cannot contribute to the payments. It's up to Judge Judy to decide whether the plaintiff is entitled to the unpaid child support, or if the defendant has a valid reason for not paying.
As usual, Judge Judy delivers her trademark wit and humor as she hears the evidence from both sides and dispenses justice. Episodes like these are a reminder of why Judge Judy has been on the air for over two decades and remains a beloved courtroom show by audiences across the world.
