Ep 5. To Home...

In Kamisama Dolls season 1 episode 5, "To Home," the audience is introduced to Kuga Kyoushiro, a promising student who has returned to Kyouhei's village after being away for several years. The episode opens with him being welcomed back by the villagers, and it quickly becomes apparent that he is held in high regard by many of the locals. Kuga is deeply troubled by the state of the house and begins to reminisce about his childhood. However, his mood quickly sours when he discovers that there is someone else lurking around the estate.

The intruder turns out to be none other than Hibino, the girl who Kuga has been trying to avoid since his return to the village. When she explains that she has come out to the house to see him, Kuga becomes even more evasive, telling her that he isn't the same person he was when they knew each other as kids. Despite his attempts to push her away, Hibino remains determined to help him solve the mystery of his sister's disappearance.

As night falls, the group decides to take shelter in the house, but it quickly becomes apparent that they are not alone. Someone, or something, is lurking around the property, and they begin to hear strange noises. Aki, who has been acting particularly cautious around Kuga, reveals that he knows something about what happened to Kuga's sister, but before he can say much more, Utao is attacked by an unseen assailant.

The rest of the episode follows the group as they try to escape the attack and figure out who, or what, is behind it. Along the way, Kuga and Aki have a tense confrontation, and Utao gets a chance to show off some new skills with her kakashi (mechanical dolls).

"To Home" is a tense and action-packed episode that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats as they try to unravel the mystery behind Kuga's sister's disappearance. The tension between Kuga, Hibino, and Aki adds an additional layer of drama to the proceedings, while Utao's fierce determination to protect her friends makes her one of the standout characters of the episode.
