Ep 9. Drop Kick / Box Office Blitz

Kick Buttowski - Suburban Daredevil season 1 episode 9, titled "Drop Kick / Box Office Blitz," follows our protagonist, Clarence "Kick" Buttowski, on two separate adventures.

In the first half of the episode, "Drop Kick," Kick and his best friend, Gunther, want to perform the perfect stunt. They set their sights on a legendary trick called the "Drop Kick," which involves jumping a car over a speeding train. Kick is determined to be the first person to successfully complete the stunt, but his rival, Brad, also has his sights set on the challenge. Brad is the school bully and always tries to one-up Kick, so this time Kick wants to make sure he comes out on top.

Kick and Gunther spend all day practicing for the Drop Kick stunt, but Brad is always one step ahead of them. He already has a car that he's planning to use for the stunt, and it's much faster than Kick's car. But Kick doesn't give up. He comes up with a plan to modify his car and make it go faster than Brad's. With Gunther's help, they install extra parts and make some modifications to the engine.

On the day of the stunt, Kick and Brad both head to the train tracks to attempt the Drop Kick. Brad goes first and jumps his car over the train, but he crashes on the other side. Next up is Kick, and he's determined to make it over the train with no problems. He revs up his car and takes the jump, soaring through the air over the train and landing safely on the other side. Kick and Gunther celebrate their victory and share a heartfelt moment of friendship.

In the second half of the episode, "Box Office Blitz," Kick and Gunther decide to make a movie for their school project. The goal is to make the school's principal, Mrs. Chicarelli, laugh so hard that she'll give them an A. Kick and Gunther come up with a hilarious superhero movie called "Sock-man," which involves a hero who saves the world using only his sock puppet.

The boys gather their friends and start filming the movie. But they run into trouble when the school's drama club, led by Kick's sister, Brianna, starts sabotaging their production. Brianna and her friends want to win the school project competition, and they see Kick and Gunther's movie as a threat. They start stealing their props, ruining their set, and even stealing the footage they've already filmed.

Kick and Gunther are determined to finish their movie, even if it means pulling an all-nighter and getting creative. They come up with a plan to use their siblings and parents as actors, and even the school bully comes to their aid, playing the villain in their movie.

On the day of the competition, Kick and Gunther screen their movie for the school, including Brianna and her drama club friends. "Sock-man" is a hit, and everyone in the audience laughs and cheers. Mrs. Chicarelli is especially impressed and awards Kick and Gunther with an A+. The boys bask in their victory and celebrate with their friends and family.
