Ep 1. Help Wanted

In the first episode of the third season of LA Ink, titled "Help Wanted," the focus is on the High Voltage Tattoo shop and its owner Kat Von D. After the departure of her long-time shop manager, Pixie, Kat finds herself in need of a new staffer to help run the shop.

Rooftop is creating a huge back piece for a client who wants an octopus surrounded by shipwrecks and treasure.

Throughout the episode, we also get a glimpse into the personal lives of the tattoo artists. Kat is still adjusting to life as a single woman after her breakup with Jesse James, and she confides in her friend and fellow tattoo artist, Dan, about her struggles. Corey is dealing with the challenges of being a single dad and worries about leaving his son behind while he goes on tour with his band, Stone Sour.

Despite the personal challenges the artists are facing, they all come together to create beautiful and meaningful tattoos for their clients. In the end, Aubry proves herself to be a valuable addition to the team, and the shop continues to thrive under her leadership.
