Ep 3. Where There's Smoke, There's Ire

In Last Man Standing season 6 episode 3 titled "Where There's Smoke, There's Ire", we see Mike, who runs Outdoor Man, struggling to deal with smoke from the lodge. He is furious to find out that the culprit is a new neighbor who moved in on the other side of Ed's sporting goods store. Mike confronts the neighbor, Bill, and things quickly go from bad to worse. Bill is unapologetic about the smoke, and the exchange turns into a screaming match. Mike tries his best to maintain his temper while dealing with Bill's arrogance.

Meanwhile, Vanessa seems to be struggling with her job as a high school guidance counselor. A student confesses to her that he has been using drugs, which puts Vanessa in a tough spot. She tries to encourage the student to seek help, but everything she says seems to be ineffective. Vanessa turns to her husband Mike for advice, but realizes that he is too involved in his fight with Bill to be of much help.

On the other hand, Kyle and Ryan seem to be having a great time while working together selling security systems. Kyle is impressed by the way that Ryan approaches the job and even feels like he is learning something new. Ryan's success in sales soon begins to rub off on Kyle, who decides to become more competitive. However, he ends up going a little too far and makes a serious mistake.

To make matters worse, Kristin's friend, Jen, is heavily pregnant and waiting for her husband to come home. He is serving overseas, and all of Jen's relatives are on the other side of the country. Kristin is more than happy to help out by offering to drive Jen to the hospital when she goes into labor. However, things quickly go wrong when Kristin's water breaks while they are on the way to the hospital. Kristin and Jen have to work together to make sure that everything goes smoothly.

Overall, Last Man Standing season 6 episode 3 is an eventful episode full of drama, comedy, and heartwarming moments. We get to see Mike struggle with his anger issues while also trying to be a good neighbor. Vanessa deals with the daily struggles of her job while also trying to help a student in need. Kyle and Ryan have their own share of challenges at work, while Kristin and Jen have to deal with an unexpected delivery. Through it all, the Baxter family shows us that they are there for each other, no matter what.
