Level Up is an American television series that originally premiered on Cartoon Network in 2012. It is a live-action comedy, directed by Peter Lauer and executive produced by Derek Guiley, David Schneiderman, and Peter Murrieta. The show stars Gaelan Connell as Wyatt Black, a typical high school student whose life takes a sudden turn when a video game comes to life.

Wyatt Black is a teenage boy who loves to play video games with his best friends, Lyle (Connor Del Rio) and Dante (Jessie T. Usher). He spends most of his days playing a video game called "Conqueror of All Worlds" - an interactive game that allows him to explore different worlds and conquer various quests. Wyatt is a master at the game, but when he saves his avatar from being destroyed during a lightning storm, he unwittingly unleashes a series of events that will turn his life upside down.

Wyatt soon discovers that the world of "Conqueror of All Worlds" has merged with the real world, and that the video game creatures are now running loose in his town. Along with his friends, Wyatt must use his gaming skills to defeat the creatures and save their town from destruction. Together, they form a team called "The Beta Testers" and embark on a mission to save the world.

As they begin their mission, they encounter all sorts of challenges along the way. They meet a girl named Angie (Aimee Carrero) who joins their team, and soon discover that the creatures are being controlled by a mysterious villain known as Maldark (Phil Lamarr). Wyatt and his friends must navigate through various worlds in order to find Maldark and stop him from destroying their town.

Throughout the show, Wyatt and his friends encounter new creatures, obstacles and challenges. Each episode is packed with action and adventure, making it an exciting watch. The Beta Testers must use their wit, strategy and gaming skills to defeat Maldark and his minions, all while trying to balance their real life with their quest to save the world.

Aside from the action and adventure, Level Up also touches on themes of friendship, loyalty, and teamwork. Wyatt and his friends learn to work together and rely on each other in order to accomplish their goals. They also learn to be supportive of one another, even when things don't go as planned.

One of the unique aspects of the show is the way it seamlessly integrates the video game world with the real world. The characters use gaming terminology, and the creatures and worlds they encounter are inspired by video game culture. The show also features visually stunning special effects that bring the game to life before our eyes.

Gaelan Connell does an excellent job portraying Wyatt Black, a relatable and likable protagonist who is easy to root for. Connor Del Rio and Jessie T. Usher also deliver strong performances as Lyle and Dante, respectively. Aimee Carrero brings a fresh energy to the show as Angie, a smart and capable female character who is not afraid to get her hands dirty.

Overall, Level Up is an entertaining show that combines action, adventure, and comedy in a unique and exciting way. It is a great watch for fans of video game culture, as well as those who enjoy action-packed shows with a touch of humor. With its talented cast, stunning special effects, and exciting plot, Level Up is sure to keep viewers entertained from start to finish.
