Laura struggles to come to terms with the death of her childhood rival, Nellie Oleson, who was killed in a rare and tragic accident. As she and her family mourn Nellie's passing, they begin to notice strange and inexplicable occurrences around their home and town. When a new family moves into the Oleson's old mansion, Laura is convinced that Nellie has been reincarnated and is now haunting them. With the help of her family and friends, Laura sets out to uncover the truth behind the strange happenings and put Nellie's spirit to rest once and for all.
