In season 3 episode 2 of Lottery Changed My Life, titled "Island Dreamers," we follow the stories of lottery winners who use their newfound wealth to pursue their dreams of living on an island paradise.

The episode begins with the story of Lou Eisenberg, a retired security guard who won $5 million in the New York Lottery in 1981. Lou had always dreamed of owning a tropical island, so he used his winnings to purchase Star Island in the Bahamas. He spent the next few years building a luxurious mansion on the island, complete with a swimming pool, tennis court, and cabanas. However, Lou's island paradise was not without its challenges, including hurricanes, power outages, and difficulty finding reliable staff to maintain the property. Despite the difficulties, Lou said that owning Star Island was the best thing that ever happened to him.

Next, we meet Frank Thompson, a construction worker from North Carolina who won $70 million in a Powerball jackpot in 2015. Frank and his wife, Sharon, had always dreamed of living on a tropical island, so they used their winnings to purchase a 4-acre estate on the island of St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands. They built a beautiful beachfront home with a pool and a guest house, and they also purchased a boat to explore the other islands in the region. Frank and Sharon say that living on St. Croix is like living in paradise, and they couldn't be happier with their decision to move there.

The third story in this episode features Tracy Suter, a mother of three from Indiana who won $69 million in a Powerball jackpot in 2015. Tracy had always dreamed of owning a home on the beach, so she used her winnings to purchase a luxurious oceanfront mansion in Vero Beach, Florida. The home, which has six bedrooms and eight bathrooms, also includes a pool, a private beach, and a dock for Tracy's boat. Tracy says that winning the lottery has given her the freedom to live the life she always wanted, and she feels grateful for every day she gets to spend in her beautiful home.

The fourth and final story in "Island Dreamers" is about Brenda and Mike Higashi, a couple from California who won $19 million in the California Lottery in 2013. Brenda and Mike had always dreamed of living in Hawaii, so they used their winnings to purchase a 5,000 square-foot home on the island of Maui. The home includes six bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a pool with a waterfall. Brendan and Mike say that they love their new life in Hawaii and feel grateful for the chance to live their dream.

Throughout the episode, we see the challenges and rewards of pursuing a dream of living on an island paradise.
