Love It or List It, Too Season 8 Episode 1 Miracle Makeover

Love It or List It, Too is a popular home renovation show where homeowners must decide whether to keep their current homes or sell them and move on. The show is hosted by Jillian Harris, who is responsible for renovating the home and David Visentin, who helps the homeowners find new homes to buy.

In season 8 episode 1, titled "Miracle Makeover," a couple is feeling cramped in their current home. Their house is an older split-level style, with a small living room, cramped kitchen, and bedroom layout that doesn't work for their growing family. The couple has two young children, and they would like more space to entertain guests. Jillian and David are tasked with deciding if they should renovate the home or if they should find a new one.

Jillian and her team begin by looking at what changes they can make to the existing home. Jillian sees that the kitchen could be opened up to create a more open-concept space, and she decides to remove a hallway which enables them to make the living room and kitchen larger. Additionally, they decide to add a new bathroom on the upper level, create an ensuite, and redesign the bedrooms to be more spacious.

While Jillian focuses on changing the home's interior, David takes the couple out to look at potentials homes to purchase. During their house-hunting adventure, David shows them a stunning house located in an upscale neighborhood that has everything the couple is looking for, such as with open-concept living spaces, a spacious backyard, and more natural light.

Despite David's suggestions, the couple remains undecided. They like their current home, but it no longer works. Jillian, on the other hand, sees plenty of potential to turn the cramped home into an ideal space for the family. She proposes a plan to reconfigure the layout of the house, which includes a refreshed design. After hefty consideration, the couple ultimately decides to stick to Jillian's renovation plan.

They move out of their home during the renovation process and Jillian and her team get busy transforming their living space. The team creates an open-concept kitchen, living, and dining area with updated finishes and fittings. Additionally, they knock down walls to give the bedrooms more space, and Jillian adds a new luxurious bathroom with a deep soaker tub. The couple comes back to a bright and airy home, which is unrecognizable from the cramped, dark home they previously had.

In the end, the couple is thrilled with their new beautiful home, and it's a definite love it! Jillian was able to transform their cramped living space into the open, warm, and bright family home that they always dreamed of having. And even though David didn't help them find a new home, he was able to expose them to an ideal home-in-the-making that made them realize they couldn't just uproot their family to a new area and neighborhood. Overall, it was a successful start to the season of Love It or List It, Too!
