The episode begins with the girls of μ's realizing that they need to come up with a name for their group if they want to participate in the Love Live competition. They all toss out ideas, but can't seem to agree on anything. Meanwhile, Honoka is still struggling with figuring out what she can do to make their group stand out.

The next day, Honoka runs into an old schoolmate named Kotori who has just transferred to their school. Kotori mentions that she is interested in fashion design and has been struggling to find a way to express herself creatively at their new school. Honoka immediately sees an opportunity and asks Kotori to make the costumes for their group.

Excited to help, Kotori immediately gets to work on designing costumes for μ's. Meanwhile, the other girls start to worry that Honoka is putting too much pressure on Kotori and that her workload might become overwhelming.

As the girls start practicing their dance routines, they begin to notice that Honoka is struggling more than usual. They decide to take a break and talk to Honoka about what's been going on. Honoka admits that she feels guilty for putting so much pressure on Kotori and worries that she might be risking their friendship.

The girls decide to go visit Kotori at the costume shop to check in on her and ease Honoka's concerns. When they arrive, they find Kotori working diligently on their costumes, but also notice that she seems to be struggling with her work. The girls reassure Kotori that they are grateful for her help and that they hope she isn't pushing herself too hard.

As the girls leave the shop, Honoka realizes that she needs to do something to show her appreciation for Kotori's hard work and dedication. She comes up with the idea to surprise Kotori with a special treat: a strawberry parfait from a local dessert shop that Kotori has been dying to try.

Honoka and the girls rush to the shop to buy the parfait, but they find that the shop is sold out. Not wanting to give up, Honoka decides to make the parfait herself. The girls come together to help Honoka and they work tirelessly throughout the night to make the perfect dessert for Kotori.

The next day, the girls surprise Kotori with the parfait and thank her for all of her hard work. Overwhelmed with emotion, Kotori thanks the girls and reaffirms her commitment to designing the best costumes possible for μ's.

Later that day, the girls come up with a name for their group: Aqours. They practice their dance routines and prepare for their upcoming performance at the Love Live competition.
