In this episode of Magnum P.I., the titular character, Thomas Magnum, is called upon to solve a supernatural mystery that has been plaguing the King Kamehameha Club. The club, a famous social institution in Hawaii, is reportedly cursed by the ancient gods of the island, and members of the club are dying at an alarming rate.
Magnum is hired by one of the club's wealthy patrons, who believes that the curse is nothing more than a myth created by those who seek to remove the club's board of directors. Magnum, ever the skeptic, agrees to investigate the matter and find the true cause of the strange occurrences at the club.
As he delves deeper into the mystery, Magnum discovers that there may be more to the curse than he originally thought. He uncovers a web of deception, greed, and betrayal that threatens to upend the entire institution.
With the help of his friends, TC and Rick, as well as the club's own security team, Magnum sets out to uncover the true source of the curse and put an end to it once and for all. Along the way, he must navigate dangerous waters, both literal and figurative, and confront his own beliefs about the supernatural.
