He discovers that a mysterious entity is wreaking havoc and causing glitches in the Net, and that CircusMan may be involved. As Dr. Hikari works to uncover the truth, Lan and Chaud's NetBattle comes to a sudden halt when a blackout occurs, causing all the Navis to shut down.

In the aftermath of the blackout, Lan and Chaud are forced to work together to figure out what happened and who caused it. They soon discover the truth behind CircusMan and the mysterious entity causing glitches in the Net, and must team up to stop them before they cause irreparable damage.
