Mind Games stars Steve Zahn and Christian Slater who play brothers that have set up a unique business. The business will help clients to make their lives better by manipulating the people around them. Steve Zahn was a professor with a bipolar disorder who got fired for having an affair with one of his students. Christian Slater plays his con artist brother who has recently been released from jail. They believe that they can use the professor's theories about manipulating people to start a business that will use those theories to make their customers' lives better.

The structure of the show appears to be that a client appears at the beginning of the show and tells the brothers and their staff their problem. The brothers and the staff think of a plan to help their client. The plan is ruined by the bipolar craziness of Steve Zahn's character. The "normal" brother and employees think up a new plan and save the day.
