Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny Season 1 Episode 2 Those who Call Out for Battle

In Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny season 1 episode 2, titled "Those who Call Out for Battle," the aftermath of the previous battle can be seen, and we see that the Archangel has been severely damaged. Meanwhile, Shinn Asuka, who is still reeling in from the loss of his family and home, is seen walking around aimlessly when he comes across Athrun Zala and his ZAKU. In fact, Athrun was involved in the battle, but for the opposing faction. A small skirmish breaks out between the two, but Athrun is eventually able to get away.

Meanwhile, the Minerva sets out to look for the stolen Gundams, and Rey notices that Shinn's mobile suit is moving around the area. They are eventually able to catch up to him, and Shinn is asked to help them in their search. Shinn agrees, and they are able to locate the stolen Gundams, but they are attacked by the forces of the Earth Alliance. A larger battle ensues, and Shinn once again meets Athrun on the battlefield. This time, however, Shinn's eyes are opened to the bigger picture of the war, and he realizes that there are multiple factions fighting for different reasons.

The episode ends with the Archangel finally being able to get away from the warzone, but they are left unsure about what will happen in the future. The crew of the Minerva, on the other hand, continue to search for their missing allies, while Shinn finally begins to come to terms with his new life as a soldier.

Overall, "Those who Call Out for Battle" is a tense and action-packed episode that sets the stage for the events that will follow in the rest of the series. It does a good job of continuing to develop the characters of Shinn and Athrun, as well as introducing new elements to the story. The animation and fight scenes are well done, and the plot moves along at a good pace. Fans of the Gundam series will definitely want to tune in to see what happens next.
