Ep 2. Mayhem

In the second episode of Mountain Men season 1, titled "Mayhem," we follow several individuals as they brave the rough terrain and harsh weather that comes with living off the grid.

First, we meet Eustace Conway, who lives in the mountains of North Carolina and is known for his impressive survival skills. Eustace is busy building a new shelter for his horses when a sudden rainstorm hits the area, causing a flood that rushes through his property. Eustace must act quickly to save his animals and prevent any further damage to his land.

Next, we travel to Alaska to see how Marty Meierotto is faring in the wilderness. Marty is a skilled trapper who relies on the animals he catches for both food and income. However, the winter weather in Alaska can be unpredictable, and Marty must constantly adapt to changing conditions in order to survive.

Meanwhile, in Montana, Rich Lewis is on a mission to catch a wolverine that has been wreaking havoc on his property. Wolverines are notoriously difficult to catch, and Rich must use all of his skills and experience to outsmart the elusive creature.

Finally, we meet Tom Oar, who lives in the rugged mountains of Montana with his wife Nancy. Tom is a veteran trapper who has been living off the land for over 35 years. In this episode, he must navigate the treacherous terrain to get to his traplines and check his catches.

Throughout the episode, we see how these individuals rely on their own resourcefulness and ingenuity to survive in some of the most remote and inhospitable regions of the world. From facing fierce weather conditions to battling elusive animals, every day is a struggle for these mountain men. But despite the many challenges they face, they remain committed to maintaining their way of life and preserving the natural beauty of their surroundings.
