Ep 7. Let the Weight of the Hammer Do the Work

In Montana, Marty Meierotto is also facing challenges. Marty is preparing to catch his first lynx of the season, but the traps he is using aren't working as well as he'd hoped. Determined to catch his prey, Marty tries a different method. He sets up a snare trap, but this proves to be even more dangerous than using traditional traps. As he battles with the unpredictable weather and the predators in the area, Marty's resilience is put to the test.

Finally, in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, Rich Lewis is struggling to find his footing. Rich has always been a skilled trapper, but this season seems to be throwing him for a loop. After a string of failed attempts, Rich is feeling discouraged. He decides to switch up his tactics and try a more aggressive approach. Using a hammer instead of a gun, Rich sets out to catch his prey. But will his new plan pay off, or will he be forced to admit defeat?
