Ep 9. Test of Wills

Jessica Fletcher, the beloved mystery writer and amateur detective, returns for another exciting episode of Murder, She Wrote. In season 6 episode 9, entitled Test of Wills, Jessica finds herself embroiled in yet another murder mystery while she is visiting an old friend in England.

Upon her arrival in the cozy English village of Midsomer Worthy, Jessica is greeted warmly by her friend Harry McGraw. However, their reunion is short-lived when they stumble upon the body of a local businessman named Robert Strickland. The police initially believe that Robert's death was a suicide, but Jessica isn't so sure – she believes that there is foul play involved. Additionally, there is also an art dealer who stands to gain financially from the sale of Robert's valuable artwork.

As Jessica continues to investigate, the clues begin to lead her down an unexpected path. She begins to realize that there may be a connection between Robert's death and a seemingly unrelated car accident that occurred in the village years ago. With the help of her friend Harry, Jessica begins to piece together the truth behind both incidents – but not before putting herself in grave danger in the process.

As always, Murder, She Wrote keeps viewers on the edge of their seats with its twists and turns, and Test of Wills is no exception. The episode boasts dynamic performances from its stellar cast, including Angela Lansbury as the inimitable Jessica Fletcher and Jerry Orbach as her tough-talking friend Harry.
