Ep 9. The Heavy Seed

It is only harmful when it is in a place where it does not belong, such as in a village near people and animals.

With the help of the forest woman and his own knowledge of Mushi, Ginko is able to remove the Heavy Seed from the tree without harming either the tree or the child. The woman who originally brought the Heavy Seed to the village realizes the error of her ways and apologizes for the harm she has caused.

The episode ends with the villagers recovering from their sickness and disease, and the giant tree in the forest standing tall and healthy once again. Ginko leaves the village, knowing that he has helped to restore balance to the natural world.
