My Classic Car is a TV show that revolves around classic cars, their owners, and their restorations. Season 21 episode 12 takes us to RetroFest, a classic car show held in Chatham-Kent, Ontario, Canada.

The episode starts with host Dennis Gage arriving at the event, which features more than 800 classic and vintage cars. He interviews some of the attendees and gets a sense of what makes RetroFest so special. Many of the cars on display are from the 1950s and 60s, and Gage notes that the event is a celebration of a time when cars were more than just transportation - they were a symbol of the American dream.

We then meet some of the car owners and hear about the restorations they've done to their vehicles. One owner, Gary, shows off his 1940 Willys Coupe, which he's spent 25 years restoring. He talks about the challenges he faced finding original parts and the joy he now feels in driving his dream car. Another owner, Tim, has a 1966 Dodge Charger that he's turned into a drag racing machine. He explains the modifications he's made to the engine and suspension to make it faster and more stable on the track.

Gage also takes us on a tour of the vendor area, where we see everything from classic car parts to vintage signs and gas pumps. He interviews some of the vendors and gets a sense of the passion that drives them to restore and sell these items. One vendor, Mark, specializes in the rarest of the rare - original dealer signs for classic car brands like Pontiac and Chevrolet. He talks about the history behind the signs and why they're so valuable to collectors.

As the day goes on, Gage checks out some of the more unique cars on display. One is a 1959 Cadillac Hearse that's been converted into a mobile bar. The owners, Bill and Kim, give Gage a tour of the inside, which features a fully stocked bar and seating for six. Another is a 1965 Pontiac GTO that's been modified with a supercharger and other performance enhancements. The owner, Dave, talks about how much he loves driving the car and how it makes him feel like a kid again.

The highlight of the episode is the RetroFest cruise, where hundreds of classic cars take to the streets of Chatham-Kent for a parade. Gage rides along in a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible and gets a bird's-eye view of the event. He talks to some of the other drivers and passengers and gets a sense of the camaraderie that exists among classic car enthusiasts.

Overall, My Classic Car season 21 episode 12 is a celebration of classic cars and the people who love them. It's a reminder of a bygone era when cars were more than just transportation - they were a symbol of freedom, style, and individuality. Whether you're a die-hard fan of classic cars or just appreciate the beauty and craftsmanship of these vintage vehicles, this episode is sure to leave you feeling nostalgic and inspired.
