Ep 4. No Safety in Numbers

Samantha and Josh are the two strangers who will be dropped in an unfamiliar and isolated location in the latest episode of Naked and Afraid season 10. They devise a plan to go fishing using some string and hooks they had packed. The first attempt is unsuccessful, but eventually, their persistence pays off. They manage to catch fish and have a food source for the next few days.

With the looming threat of hyenas, along with their inadequate shelter, fear and anxiety start to take a toll on the two survivalists. The environment is harsh, and the lack of basic necessities like water and food make their situation even more precarious. Samantha and Josh's determination to stay alive is tested as they face several challenges, including dehydration and hunger.

As they progress through the grasslands, they come across other wild animals that pose a danger to them, including leopards and snakes. The need for a fortified shelter becomes even more urgent as they realize they could be attacked at any moment. They find some abandoned rocks and use them to construct a more secure shelter. The shelter provides some sense of safety, and they are finally able to relax.

Despite the constant threat of danger, Sam and Josh manage to make it to day twenty-one. As they wait for the extraction team to arrive, they reflect on their journey. They both find themselves filled with pride and satisfaction that they made it through even when the odds were stacked against them.

The episode comes to an end as the extraction team arrives to take the duo back to civilization. Although it was a brutal experience, they leave with newfound knowledge about themselves, the wilderness, and the importance of survival skills.
