Rayna is still struggling with the aftermath of her father's revelations. She finds comfort in her music and the support of her family and friends. Meanwhile, Deacon is facing his own demons. He's tempted to turn back to his old ways, but he knows that could only lead to trouble. Juliette is also dealing with some personal struggles. She's trying to balance her career and her personal life, but it's proving to be difficult.

The episode begins with Rayna playing guitar and singing a new song. She's interrupted by Teddy, who stops by to drop off some things for the girls. Rayna asks him why he's been avoiding her, but Teddy brushes it off and leaves. Later, Rayna meets with Scarlett and they talk about Scarlett's upcoming tour. Scarlett admits that she's nervous, but Rayna reassures her that she'll do great.

Meanwhile, Deacon is at rehearsal with a new band. They're playing a cover of a Hank Williams Jr. song, but Deacon is having a hard time concentrating. He keeps flashing back to his past and the bad decisions he's made. After rehearsal, Deacon meets with a sponsor from AA. He tells her that he's been struggling, but he's trying to stay sober. She encourages him to keep going to meetings and taking things one day at a time.

At home, Juliette is dealing with some personal issues. She's not sure if she wants to get back together with Avery or focus on her career. She talks to her assistant, Emily, and asks for her advice. Emily tells her to follow her heart and do what's best for her.

Later, Rayna meets with her lawyer, who informs her that her father is trying to take over her record label. Rayna is shocked and upset, but she decides to fight back. She meets with her father and confronts him about his actions. He apologizes and says that he just wants to be a part of her life again. Rayna tells him that he needs to earn her trust back before she can forgive him.

In the meantime, Scarlett heads out on her tour with Gunnar. They're nervous, but excited to be performing. They play their first show and it goes well, but Scarlett is still struggling with confidence. Gunnar tells her that she's amazing and he believes in her. Scarlett thanks him and they hug.

As the episode comes to a close, Juliette makes a decision about her future. She meets with Avery and tells him that she wants to focus on her career. Avery is disappointed, but he understands. They hug and Juliette tells him that she hopes they can still be friends. Deacon goes to an AA meeting and shares his struggles with the group. They offer him words of encouragement and support. Rayna writes a new song about her father and sings it for her family and friends. They all listen and smile, happy to be together.
