On the day of the festival, all of the groups showcase their projects. The group making the jams and jellies and the group making the haunted house both do well. However, Hata's prized cow, Shakadou, causes chaos when it breaks loose and starts wandering around the festival.

Despite his doubts, Kosaku's strawberry shortcake is a huge success and becomes the talk of the festival. His classmates are impressed with the cake and praise him for his creativity.

As the festival comes to a close, Kosaku reflects on his experience and realizes that sometimes the best ideas come from unexpected places. He also learns that it's important to try new things and not be afraid to fail.
