Ep 7. MAYA's amigo

Maya's Amigo is the seventh episode of season one of Occult Academy. The episode begins with Maya helping an injured dog on the street, which she takes home with her to nurse back to health. Meanwhile, Fumiaki and Bunmei are on a mission to find a mysterious statue that supposedly has the power to grant wishes. After some investigation, they discover that the statue is located in the same area as Maya's house.

As they approach Maya's house, they witness an unusual event - the injured dog suddenly transforms into a human being. The man introduces himself as Ami, a shapeshifter who has been hiding as a stray dog. Ami explains that he needs their help to retrieve a powerful object that has been stolen from his tribe, and he believes the statue they are searching for is the key.

Maya, Fumiaki, and Bunmei decide to help Ami, and they set off on a dangerous journey to retrieve the stolen object. Along the way, they encounter various challenges, including a group of hostile shapeshifters who are also searching for the object. With Ami's help, the group is able to overcome the obstacles and eventually find the object they were seeking.

However, their victory is short-lived when they realize that the object Ami was looking for was not the same one that was stolen. They soon discover that they have been tricked by Ami, who was using them to achieve his own goals. Maya is especially hurt by Ami's betrayal, and she must come to terms with the fact that not everyone can be trusted, even those who seem to be kind and friendly.

The episode ends with Maya vowing to continue her search for the truth about her father's death, despite the obstacles and betrayals she has faced thus far. She realizes that the journey will not be easy, but she is determined to uncover the secrets of the Occult Academy and the mysterious events that have been unfolding around her.
