Ep 6. Best Friend Windows

When Nick Garrett, a successful young writer, returns home to Knights Ridge, the small town he grew up in, it feels more like a slap in the face than a warm welcome. A lot has changed since he left to pursue his dreams, including the fact that his former best friend, Eddie Latekka, is now married to his high school sweetheart, Hannah Daniels. Despite the awkwardness of his return, Nick is determined to reconnect with the people he left behind and rediscover the sense of belonging he once felt in Knights Ridge.

Meanwhile, Phil's attempt at cleanliness doesn't go quite as planned, and he finds himself in an awkward situation with Owen. Not wanting to hurt his friend's feelings but also not wanting to continue lying to Evelyn about the state of his apartment, Phil comes up with an unconventional solution that may just work for everyone involved.

As the episode comes to a close, Nick realizes that he needs to stop running away from his past and start embracing the present. He makes a bold move that could change the direction of his life forever.
