Todd and Evangeline run into each other at Angel Square, and he and Cristian clash over her, as they begin to compete to help her, from her surgery to taking her home, making Evangeline very angry, wanting them to know that she's not a dependent woman. Afterwards, Blair questions Todd on his feelings for Evangeline, and, after seeing how touchy Todd is on the issue, vows in private that she will not lose Todd to any other woman. John meets with and questions an old aquaintance named George about the night of Thomas McBain's murder, and then asks George to identify the murder weapon. Blair and John continually call each other to try and think of a plan to expose Spencer. Spencer meets with David, with David being furious at Spencer for holding a murder over his head that he never committed. David figures out that Spencer was the one who actually shot Thomas McBain, but Spencer won't admit to it. Jessica slaps Nash after they share a passionate kiss, after Nash arrives back in Llanview and mistakes her for Tess. Upon further conversation between the two, Jessica divulges that she has memories of Tess's, but lies to Nash about the extent of which she has them. Nash and Jessica then taste wine from Nash's vineyard, as Nash walks Jessica through a wine-tasting experience that he once did with Tess, trying to coax Tess back out. Kevin tells Kelly that he's trying to let go of all the hatred he feels towards her, and Kelly almost lets it slip that she's pregnant. Bo and Matthew are ecstatic when Nora walks on her own.
