Larry the Cable Guy is back with another hilarious and outrageous episode of Only in America. In this episode, titled "Redneck Extravaganzas," Larry takes viewers on a wild ride through some of the most uniquely American celebrations and festivals.
First up, Larry heads to the National Hollerin' Contest in Spivey's Corner, North Carolina. This annual event brings together contestants from around the country to see who can holler the loudest and longest without breaking their voice. Larry meets some of the contenders and even gives it a try himself, with predictably hilarious results.
Next, Larry travels to the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival in Louisiana. This three-day celebration of all things crawfish features live music, carnival rides, and of course, plenty of tasty crawfish dishes. Larry gets a behind-the-scenes look at the festival and meets some of the folks who make it all happen.
Then, Larry heads to the Redneck Yacht Club in Punta Gorda, Florida. This sprawling complex features a massive mud pit, ATV trails, and even a swim-up bar. Larry gets a taste of the club's signature mud bogs and meets some of the regulars, including one woman who has made it her mission to restore old military vehicles.
After that, Larry takes viewers to the Big Butler Fair in Pennsylvania, one of the oldest fairs in the country. This massive event features everything from rodeos and tractor pulls to carnival games and fried food. Larry takes in the sights and sounds of the fair and even tries his hand at some of the games.
Finally, Larry heads to the Great Texas Mosquito Festival in Clute, Texas. Yes, you read that right. This annual festival celebrates the mosquito, that most annoying of insects, with a variety of quirky events like mosquito calling contests and a mosquito legs eating competition. Larry gets up close and personal with some of the little bloodsuckers and learns about the genetics that make them such a nuisance.
As always, Larry brings his signature brand of humor and charm to each of these events, making Only in America a must-watch for anyone who loves to laugh and loves this great country of ours. Don't miss "Redneck Extravaganzas" and all the fun that comes with it.
