Operation: Vacation is a feel-good reality show on LOGO TV hosted by Claire Newell and Karl Schmidt, where selfless people are chosen to take the extreme vacation of their lifetime. With coordination between family and friends of the guest and top travel experts, guests are sent on wild vacations that they may have missed out on in the past due to personal struggles or putting someone else's needs before their own.

LOGO TV compares it to the Extreme Makeover of travel shows. Family and friends submit nomination tapes, and guests are sent on their dream vacation anywhere in the world. It is a heartwarming series that shows that good things happen to good people. Season One just wrapped up August 13, 2013.

Operation: Vacation Full Episode Guide

  • Mike has suffered a series of setbacks in his life. His father left when Mike was 13, and he had to get a job to help pay rent. In his early 20s, he lost all of his possessions after his young family moved into apartment infested with bed bugs. A couple years ago, he lost his grandmother (who was a huge part of his life) to Alzheimer's.

  • Cindy-Lea and George are staples of their community, donating to numerous associations in town.

  • Ben's upbringing with an alcoholic parent prepared him for work at a homeless shelter. Through the shelter, Ben has helped countless people through hard times and has even saved lives. Always incredibly supportive, Ben has also been there for family and friends.

  • When Kalo's family immigrated to North America they didn't have much. Their financial situation worsened because of medical expenses for his sister who has Down's syndrome and because his mother had a gambling problem. To support the family, he dropped out of school.

  • Mel is truly a selfless guy. When his partner, Blaine, wanted to go back to school to become a nurse, Mel worked two different jobs to support him.

  • Looking back, it's difficult to believe that only a few years ago Natasha was being airlifted to the hospital after her first suicide attempt. Now, at 18, she is determined to be the voice of reason for so many other teens struggling with mental illness.

  • Jackie has welcomed over a hundred foster kids into her home through the years. With a few of them severely troubled, taking a vacation was impossible.

  • Renato and Meleana have dedicated their lives to helping others. Despite making a modest income, 'Nato and Mel have lovingly taken in a number of their children's at-risk friends over the years, providing them with shelter, food, clothes and, most importantly, emotional support.

  • Reenie has dedicated her life to her daughters and to mentoring people with alcohol problems. Reenie started saving up for her dream trip to Peru, but then tragedy struck - her partner's son had a horrific motorcycle accident.

  • When her soldier husband almost lost his life in Afghanistan combined with a complicated pregnancy, Zuri didn't think life could get worse - until she was diagnosed with cancer.

  • Kathleen has always welcomed everyone into her home. She has taken care of her friend's children as her own, opened her home to two different families who were struggling, and even takes care of her elderly mother.

  • Lindsay and her husband Jason were blessed with two boys. However during the pregnancy she was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis. Despite her trials, she has always offered support to her girlfriends, and now they want to give back.

  • A dedicated husband is rewarded for supporting his wife.

  • Tim who spends the majority of his time as an advance-care paramedic and a volunteer for North Shore Rescue.

  • A humanitarian is sent on a trip.

  • A woman who supports family members in the Philippines goes on a much needed vacation.

  • A woman with a rare blood disease goes on a vacation.

  • Karen has worked tirelessly for the past 12 years on a cause close to her heart - kitten rescue.

  • Dawn has suffered her fair share of trials, including an alcoholic father, cervical cancer, and a string of bad relationships.

  • Bryan loves street photography. Like many artists, his inspiration comes from his past, his father was addicted to drugs and abandoned him.

  • A man suffering from multiple sclerosis is sent on a vacation.

  • A Down Syndrome girl helps surprise her mother with a vacation.

  • A woman with autism goes on a vacation.

  • A young woman suffering from ALS is sent on a dream vacation
