Outsourced Season 1 Episode 11 A Sitar is Born

Tommy (played by Rizwan Manji), the office assistant, finds that he has a hidden talent for playing the sitar, a traditional Indian stringed instrument, much to the surprise of his coworkers in the call center. He becomes obsessed with perfecting his skills, even going so far as to skip work in order to practice. His boss, Todd (played by Ben Rappaport), is initially supportive but begins to worry about Tommy's productivity and the effect his sitar playing is having on the rest of the team. Meanwhile, Madhuri (played by Anisha Nagarajan) is struggling with her marriage and turns to Gupta (played by Parvesh Cheena) for advice. However, when Gupta's advice creates even more problems for Madhuri, she realizes that she needs to take matters into her own hands. As the episode progresses, the various storylines intersect and ultimately lead to a heartwarming conclusion.
