In the twelfth season of the popular History Channel show Pawn Stars, fans are treated to episode 23 titled "Pawn Brothers." The show, which follows the daily happenings at the World Famous Gold and Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas, gives us a peek into the lives of the pawnbrokers who run the shop, their struggles, and triumphs.

In this episode, fans can witness the daily shenanigans and the ups and downs that the pawn shop owners face. The show opens up with the arrival of a 1950s Wurlitzer jukebox that Chumlee and Rick are both fascinated by. However, the owner of the jukebox does not exactly know what he has in his possession, and so he walks into the pawn shop to see if Chumlee and Rick can give him an estimate of what it's worth.

The two brothers, along with their father (family patriarch and pawn shop owner, Richard Harrison), examine the jukebox and are immediately impressed by its condition and historical significance. However, they must authenticate the item and ensure that it is still in working order before they can start negotiating a price with the owner. In typical pawn shop fashion, Chumlee takes the new arrival for a test run, and it works perfectly.

Meanwhile, another customer walks in to the pawn shop carrying a 1915 World War I-era Army helmet and a flag with 48 stars. The Brothers Harrison are immediately intrigued and ask him plenty of questions about where he got them, how he inherited them, and the stories behind them. They try to determine whether the Apollo 11 mission flag's authenticity might banish any chance of buying it.

After authenticating the pieces, Rick offers the owner a price for the helmet and the flag which the owner initially rejects. After some haggling, Rick and the owner agree on a final price, and the deal is done.

Rick and Chumlee also have a few other transactions throughout the episode, including buying a rare Nintendo game and a 20th-century lap desk, demonstrating their wide range of interests and expertise.

Additionally, the episode features a storyline that involves a painting purchased by a customer for $130. After finding out that it might be worth a lot more money, the customer brings the painting back to the shop to see if he can get a better deal. The Brothers Harrison carefully examine the painting, and they decide to offer the customer more money than he initially paid for it.

The show ends with the Brothers Harrison counting the money earned and examining the new items that they have added to the pawn shop's inventory. The show also gives fans a glimpse behind the scenes, showing the daily trials and tribulations that come with running such a business.

Overall, "Pawn Brothers" is an excellent episode that showcases the Brothers Harrison's eye for rare and unique items, their expertise in authentication, and their skill in deal-making. Viewers will be treated to a fascinating episode that touches on the historical context behind some of the items that are brought into the shop. Fans of the show will surely not be disappointed by the Brothers Harrison's antics in this exciting installment of the long-running series.
