In “Triple Axel Pawn,” the thirteenth season of Pawn Stars brings to life some of the most unique and intriguing items to have ever hit the famous Las Vegas pawn shop. In this particular episode, viewers witness some exciting and valuable historical items, including a rare World War II gas mask and a unique 19th-century postage stamp printing machine. The episode starts with Rick and Core inspecting a vintage ice hockey jersey with a twist. It belonged to a famous figure skater, Sonja Henie, who earned three consecutive Olympic gold medals in figure skating from 1928 to 1936. The jersey is estimated to be worth $150,000, but when Rick inspects the jersey, he discovers some unique features that could boost its value.

Meanwhile, Chumlee eagerly shows off his latest possession, an old postage stamp printing machine. The printing machine is believed to be from the 1880s and was used for printing the first set of U.S. stamps. They called this 19th-century machine a "Flat Bed Press," which made it easier to print stamps quickly and efficiently. The machine is at least 130 years old, made in a factory in Philadelphia. Chumlee shares his dream of using it to impress his girlfriend by printing love letters or something to that effect, but his colleagues can only wonder how much it is worth.

On the other hand, a customer comes into the shop looking to sell a gas mask from World War II. Rick and Corey are intrigued by the mask's unique design, and the seller explains that it was used by the U.S. Army during the war. He also brings in the original canister and explains that it still works. They bring in an expert to appraise the gas mask and determine its rarity and value. The expert claims that only a few of these gas masks are in circulation, increasing its rarity and value.

Before making any deal, Rick contacts skateboarder Tony Hawk to assess a vintage skateboard, to learn if it can hold up with today’s skateboards. There is a great deal of excitement on the show whenever there is an opportunity to evaluate vintage items from past generations. Tony Hawk is delighted to see a skateboard he first saw in 1980. Hawk confirms that the skateboard in question is a classic and unique model built with wood and clay wheels, which were typical of that era. Upon close inspection, Hawk realizes that the skateboard’s unrestored nature increases its value. The show concludes with a twist that leaves every member of the Pawn Stars team surprised, satisfied, and eagerly anticipating the next episode.

Overall, “Triple Axel Pawn” is a fantastic episode of Pawn Stars that showcases some of the most unusual and historically valuable items brought into the shop. The show features a wide range of expertise, from vintage skateboards to postage stamp printing machines, from a gas mask from World War II to a rare figure skater's jersey. It's fascinating to see how each expert and team member uses their knowledge to assess and appraise the items brought into the shop. Viewers are treated to a combination of history, education, and entertainment that makes for an energetic and engaging experience each episode. Whether it is your first time watching Pawn Stars, or you're a loyal fan of the show, “Triple Axel Pawn” is a must-watch episode.
