Ep 22. Mini Miles

In season 14, episode 22 of Pawn Stars, named Mini Miles, the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop offers a diverse selection of items, ranging from childhood toys to classic automobiles.

In the first segment, Rick is approached by a seller who claims to have an antique metal toy car from the 1920s. This age-old piece has distinctive historic characteristics including the decal on it stating "Made in Germany." The seller says he acquired the toy with his Model A Ford almost twenty years back and now wants to sell it. He is less confident about the value of the toy and hence, leaves it to Rick to assess its value.

Next, a man brings in an interesting bank note that he thinks comprises an error that collectors are searching for. He purchased the currency at a Christmas gift auction and wants to know whether the mistake makes it special. The print has a clipped corner, a printer's error, where the paper had folded over, obstructing the ink and resulting in a blank imprint. The banknote has a denomination of $20 and, despite the error, the question remains whether it is still worth anything beyond that amount.

Later on, a seller enters with a quirky-looking ball of wires and chips and asks for $300 for it. Rick is clueless as to what it could be and makes his best guess, calling it a computer component. The seller corrects Rick, informing him that it's a game. The game, called Simon, was one of the most popular toy gadgets of the 80s – a simple game of memory where the user had to follow colored lights and sounds by pressing the corresponding buttons. Now, as the seller claims, this particular game has a unique variation which makes it a valuable collectible item.

Lastly, a seller steps into the shop with a 1966 Chevrolet II Super Sport. The car has a vintage look to it, preserved in good condition. Rick comes out to examine the item and within no time, is struck by its beauty. The car is flawless, its look capturing every detail that could be expected of a model of its time, complete with custom wheels, an SS steering wheel, and a shifter. The seller loves the car, but he has to let it go to Rick and the shop just to cater to his pricey emergencies.

Pawn Stars never ceases to disappoint viewers with its collection of classic and valuable items, both old and new. In this episode, the team members bring their knowledge and expertise to the table, analyzing each item and coming up with the best price. Mini Miles is a wonderful embodiment of history and culture that can continue to make its impact in different parts of the world.
