After more than a decade and 500 episodes, Pawn Stars is still going strong with its 14th season. Episode 9, titled Pawning Reagan, continues the tradition of the show as it takes viewers on a journey through the unique items that come into the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas.

The episode starts with a customer who wants to sell a rare edition of The Executioner's Song, a Pulitzer Prize-winning book by Norman Mailer. The customer bought the book for $5 at a garage sale and hopes to make a substantial profit from the sale. However, the book's value is not as high as she had hoped.

The focus then shifts to a seller who brings in an original piece of art by legendary comic book artist, Neal Adams. The seller hopes to get $12,500 for the artwork. However, the pawn shop's expert, Brett Maly, thinks the value may be even higher than that. As always, Chumlee is skeptical and tries to haggle with the seller for a better price.

Next up is a customer who brings in a very unusual item - a piece of the Berlin Wall. The customer wants to sell the piece for $10,000, but Corey is skeptical of the item's authenticity. The seller proves that it's legitimate with a Certificate of Authenticity, and the pawn shop's historian, Mark Hall-Patton, provides some insightful details about the Berlin Wall's history.

In one of the most intriguing moments of the episode, the pawn shop receives a call from a customer claiming to have an item that once belonged to former President Ronald Reagan. Rick takes the call and decides to investigate the claim. When the customer arrives at the shop with the item, Rick is excited to see that it's an 18-karat gold and diamond Cartier watch that Reagan was given by the CEO of Warner Bros. Studios in 1984. Rick consults with his experts and determines that the watch is indeed authentic and appraises it at $30,000.

As with any good episode of Pawn Stars, there's always a wild card item that captures the attention of the viewers. In this episode, that item is a telephone booth that was used in the production of the TV show 24. The booth was auctioned off after the end of the show and the buyer hopes to sell it for $7,500. The booth is a little worse for wear, but Rick sees the potential for a unique spectacle in his shop and decides to buy it.

Overall, Pawning Reagan is a fun and engaging episode that showcases the eclectic and surprising items that come into the pawn shop. As always, the star power of Rick, Corey, Chumlee, and the rest of the crew adds to the appeal of the show, making it a must-watch for any pawn shop or history buffs out there.
