Pawn Stars season 15 episode 3, titled "Pawn or Bust," follows the guys at the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas as they assess a variety of unique and historical items brought in by customers looking to sell.
The episode begins with Rick and Corey receiving a visit from some potential buyers who are interested in a vintage Wayne Gas Pump from the 1930s. Although the pump is in rough condition, the buyers believe it could still be worth a lot of money. Meanwhile, Chumlee is tasked with helping a customer who has brought in a rare set of handwritten letters from President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The letters were written to the customer's grandfather who worked for the president during his time in office.
Later on, the guys are visited by a gentleman who has an antique prosthetic arm from the 1800s. The man is hoping to sell the arm and make some money, but Rick and Corey are skeptical about its value. They call in an expert to assess the arm and determine whether or not it is worth anything.
In addition to these items, the guys also evaluate a classic Harley Davidson motorcycle, a set of World War II military medals, and a unique chess set made from human teeth.
Throughout the episode, viewers get a behind-the-scenes look at the pawn business and how Rick, Corey, and Chumlee make their buying and selling decisions. They discuss the history and rarity of each item, along with any potential value or flaws.
"Pawn or Bust" is a fascinating glimpse into the world of pawn shops and the unique items that customers bring in to sell. It showcases the expertise and knowledge of the pawnbrokers at the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop and how they carefully evaluate each item to determine its worth.
