Pawn Stars Season 2 Episode 16 Helmet Head

In this episode of Pawn Stars, titled "Helmet Head," the team at the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas encounter a variety of unique items. One of the items that catches Rick's eye is an old football helmet from the 1950s. The owner purchased the helmet at a garage sale for just a few dollars and believes it may be from a famous athlete.

Rick is intrigued by the helmet's design and decides to do some research to determine its authenticity. He contacts a sports memorabilia expert to examine the helmet and provide an estimate of its value. The expert is impressed with the helmet's condition and confirms that it belonged to a well-known football player from the era. However, the expert also reveals that based on the current market, the helmet is not worth as much as the owner had hoped.

Next, the team is presented with a vintage Coca-Cola machine from the 1960s. The owner, who inherited the machine from his father, is looking to sell it to make some extra cash. Chumlee takes a liking to the machine and decides to purchase it for his own personal collection.

Later on, a customer brings in a painting by the renowned artist Fernando Botero. The painting features one of Botero's iconic, voluptuous figures and is signed by the artist himself. Rick is impressed by the painting's provenance but is hesitant to make an offer due to the high price tag.

The last item featured in this episode is a set of classic GI Joe action figures from the 1980s. The owner, a collector himself, is looking to sell the set to make some extra cash. Rick examines the figures and determines that they are in excellent condition, making them more valuable to collectors. He makes an offer to purchase the set but the owner decides to take it to a collector's show instead.

Throughout the episode, the team at the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop use their expertise to determine the authenticity and value of each item presented to them.
