Ep 3. Pawned Lightnin'

In Pawned Lightnin', the third episode of the 20th season of Pawn Stars, the team at the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas is presented with a diverse array of intriguing items brought in by customers looking to sell or pawn their wares.

First up, a seller has come in with something that really catches Rick Harrison's eye: an antique 1861 Colt Navy revolver. In excellent condition and complete with its original wooden case, this particular model has a reputation as one of the firearms that helped shape the American West. Rick will have to evaluate the item carefully to determine its authenticity and value.

Next, a father and son duo have brought in a classic 1931 Ford Model A roadster. The car has been in their family for over twenty years and has undergone extensive restoration work to get it looking its best. While the father is hoping to sell the car outright, his son is more interested in trying to negotiate a pawn loan.

Later on, an artist comes in looking to pawn a unique piece of art: a kinetic sculpture called "The Lighthouse." Made of brass and featuring various gears and moving parts, the sculpture is designed to mimic the motion of waves and features a working LED light in the lighthouse tower. However, with its intricate design and specialized components, Rick will need to determine whether there's a market for such an unusual item.

Another customer brings in something from the world of music: a 1971 Fender Rhodes "Suitcase" electric piano. Complete with its own hard case and in good working order, the piano has been lugged around to countless gigs over the years and has a certain amount of wear and tear to show for it. Corey and Chumlee will need to assess whether the instrument's history gives it value beyond its basic function.

Finally, a student hoping to make some cash has brought in a collection of rare coins, including some ancient Roman coins and a number of U.S. silver dollars dating back to the late 1800s. The coins are all individually encased in protective plastic and in excellent condition, but Rick will need to use his knowledge of numismatics to accurately appraise their value.

As always, there are surprises and unexpected turns in store throughout the episode, as the team at the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop evaluates each item carefully and makes deals with customers.
