In season 5, episode 15 of Pawn Stars, entitled "Crosby, Stills and Cash", the guys from the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas are in for a musical treat. In this episode, they have a chance to evaluate and potentially purchase some iconic memorabilia from some of the biggest names in the music industry, including some items that once belonged to singer-songwriter Johnny Cash.

The episode starts with the arrival of a limited edition Martin D-45 guitar, once owned by the legendary singer and songwriter, Stephen Stills from the rock band, Crosby, Stills & Nash. The guitar is considered to be one of the most collectible acoustic guitars by guitar collectors worldwide. The seller is seeking a fair price, but with only 91 of these guitars ever produced, the pawnshop is eager to add the guitar to their collection. However, Rick, the shop's main appraiser, is skeptical about the guitar's authenticity and seeks the help of an expert. He contacts vintage guitar enthusiast, George Gruhn, who has been appraising guitars for over 50 years.

In the meantime, Corey, aka "Big Hoss", arrives with a framed album cover from The Johnny Cash Show, featuring Johnny Cash, June Carter Cash, and Carl Perkins. The artwork is signed by all three artists in silver ink and is in excellent condition. With the possibility of such an incredible piece of memorabilia, Rick calls in a second expert, to validate the signature's authenticity. The in-house expert is impressed with the condition of the album cover as it would make an excellent display piece. However, the signed Johnny Cash memorabilia does not come cheap, and Rick and the seller still have some price negotiations to reach an agreement.

Bringing a unique twist to this musical episode, the shop also receives a rare 18th-century French deck of cards that were used to play a game called Tarot. Tarot cards have historically been used for divination, and their rarity has made them highly collectible items. The seller, who is an antique card collector, bought the Tarot cards in an auction and was shocked to learn about their age, rarity and potential value. The shop's specialist, Rebecca, authenticates and evaluates the Tarot cards, but somehow the playfulness of the cards does not allow for a practical use in the shop.

As the negotiations progress, the two experts confirm the authenticity of the guitar and the album cover. The head of the Pawn Shop team, Rick, decides to buy the guitar from the seller at a favorable price, and the album cover featuring Johnny Cash, June Carter Cash, and Carl Perkins is also purchased after some price negotiations. Finally, the antique Tarot cards are sent to be auctioned, and the seller is happy to have had a chance to show off his unique card deck.

The episode ends with Rick, Chumlee, Big Hoss, and the Old Man discussing the unique experiences they had throughout their appraisal process. On "Pawn Stars," there are always surprises around the corner, and this episode is excellent proof of that. Whether you're into music, collectibles, or both, "Crosby, Stills and Cash" is not an episode to miss.
