The episode starts with a prank that Rick tries to pull off on Chumlee, but it backfires, causing some chaos. Soon after, a customer comes in with a collection of rare Rookwood pottery pieces. Rookwood pottery is an American brand of pottery that was popular in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The customer wants to sell the entire collection to the shop, but the guys are not sure if they really want to buy it. They decide to bring in an expert to get his opinion on the pieces.

Later on, the guys get a visit from a seller who claims to have a World War II-era tank periscope. He says it was his grandfather's and he wants to sell it. They bring in an expert to analyze the item and to determine if it's legitimate.
Finally, a customer comes in with a 1930s slot machine that he found while cleaning out his grandfather's house. The machine is in great condition, with original parts, and has been maintained very well. The customer is hoping to get a decent price for it, but the guys need to do some research to determine its value.
Throughout the episode, there are plenty of laughs as the guys prank each other and try to one-up each other. In the end, they make some good deals on the items and continue to have fun working together at the famous pawn shop.
